GUALALA — November 2, 2026. Mendocino County Library identifies its Coast Community Branch in Point Arena as a public library serving the southern Mendocino coast, including communities around Gualala.
An important address distinction
The county library is at 225 Main Street in Point Arena, not in Gualala itself. It offers Wi-Fi, public computers, printing, scanning, a seed library, a meeting room and book programs.
Current schedule
The branch lists Tuesday–Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is closed Sunday and Monday and may adjust hours seasonally.
Programs for different ages
The county advertises children’s storytime, technology help, book discussions, crafting and other activities. Visitors from Gualala should check a live calendar and call 707-882-3114 before driving to Point Arena for a particular class or device.
